Robin Hood: The Hero of Sherwood Forest

Long ago in England, there lived a brave and skilled archer named Robin Hood. He made his home deep in Sherwood Forest with his loyal band of friends, known as the Merry Men.

At that time, many poor people suffered under unfair taxes imposed by the greedy Sheriff of Nottingham. Robin Hood could not bear to see innocent families struggle while the rich grew richer. He decided to stand up for justice.

Whenever wealthy nobles or corrupt officials traveled through the forest, Robin Hood and his companions would stop them and take a portion of their wealth. He then distributed the money, food, and supplies to poor villagers who desperately needed help.

Robin Hood became famous throughout the land. The Sheriff of Nottingham tried many times to capture him, but Robin’s clever plans and expert archery always helped him escape.

One day, the sheriff organized a grand archery contest, hoping to lure Robin Hood into a trap. Disguised as a common traveler, Robin entered the competition. With incredible skill, he split an arrow already lodged in the target and won the contest. Before the sheriff could arrest him, Robin and his friends disappeared into the forest.

For many years, Robin Hood continued helping the poor and fighting injustice. People admired him not only for his bravery but also for his kindness and fairness.
